On September 1, 2023, from 5-9 pm, Noteology will be hosting a First Friday Scranton event to highlight our participation in the World Taste & Smell Day on September 14th.
Candles, Cookies & Cocktails: A Launch to World Taste & Smell Day.
On First Friday, Noteology will launch 3 limited-edition candles that evoke the senses in the world of gourmands and will be showcasing them with paired edibles, complimentary bites and cocktails, to engage both taste and smell.
To sniff and nibble, the Almond Macaron candle will be paired with a delectable almond macaron made by local bakery Lynn Sandy's Bakery in Scranton.
To sniff and sip, the Pumpkin Praline candle will be paired with a luscious Pumpkin Praline cocktail developed by Bar Pazzo, a local rustic Italian restaurant in Scranton.
Finally, the Iced Gingersnap candle will be paired with a snappy Iced Gingersnap cookie, also by Lynn Sandy's Bakery to top off this gourmand trio of sensory goodness.
Along with the complimentary candle, cocktail and cookie pairings, Noteology will be having giveaways throughout the night including gift cards to Bar Pazzo and Lynn Sandy's Bakery.
All of the candles will be available for purchase and available to be made in the Custom Candle Studio. 35% of the purchase of these candles will go back to The World Taste & Smell Association.
